Genesis
God created man in his image; in the divine image he created him; male and female he created them.  God blessed them, saying: "Be fertile and multiply; fill the earth and subdue it..."



Cain said to his brother, Abel, "Let us go out to the field."
When they were in the field, Cain attacked his brother, Abel, and killed him.
Then the LORD asked Cain, "Where is your brother, Abel?"  He answered, "I do not know.  Am I my brother's keeper?"
God then said:  What have you done?  Your brother's blood cries out to me from the ground!

Whoever sheds the blood of man, by man shall his blood be shed; for God made man in his own image.

Deuteronomy
Here, then, I have today set before you life and prosperity, death and doom.
If you obey the commandments of the LORD, your God, which I enjoin on you today, loving him, and walking in his ways, and keeping his commandments, statutes and decries, you will live and grow numerous, and the LORD, your God, will bless you in the land you are entering to occupy.
If, however, you turn away your hearts and will not listen, but are led astray and adore and serve other gods,
I tell you now that you will certainly perish: you will not have a long life  on the land which you are crossing the Jordan to enter and occupy.
I call heaven and earth today to witness against you:  I have set before you life and death, the blessing and the curse.  Choose life, then, that you and your descendants may live, by loving the LORD, your God, heeding his voice, and holding fast to him.   For that will mean life for you, a lon life for you to live on the land which the LORD swore he would give to your fathers Abraham, Isaac and Jacob.

Psalm 139

Ecclesiastes
As you do not know the path of the wind, or how the body is formed in a mother’s womb, so you cannot understand the work of God, the Maker of all things.

Jeremiah
Then the word of the Lord came to me, saying: "Before I formed you in the womb I knew you; Before you were born I sanctified you;
I ordained you a prophet to the nations."

Isaiah
Before birth the LORD called me from birth, from my mother's womb he gave me my name.

Can a mother forget her infant, be without tenderness for the child of her womb?  Even should she forget, I will never forget you.  See, upon the palms of my hands I have engraved you;

The Gospel According to Saint Matthew
For it is through the holy Spirit that this child has been conceived to her.
Therefore, whoever breaks one of the least of these commandments and teaches others to do so will be called least in the kingdom of heaven.  But whoever obeys and teaches these commandments will be called greatest in the kingdom of heaven.
And the king will say to them in reply, "Amen, I say to you, whatever you did for one of these least brothers of mine, you did for me."

The Gospel According to Saint Luke
During those days Mary set out and traveled to the hill country in haste to a town of Judah, where she entered the house of Zechariah and greeted Elizabeth. When Elizabeth heard  Mary's greeting, the infant leaped in her womb, and Elizabeth, filled with the holy Spirit, cried out in a loud voice and said, "Most blessed are you among women, and blessed is the fruit of your womb.

The Gospel According to Saint Matthew
They were overjoyed at seeing the star, and entering the house they saw the child with Mary his mother.  They prostrated themselves and did him homage.  Then they opened their treasures and offered him gifts of gold, frankinsense and myrrh.

Romans

Revelation
The dragon stood before the woman who was about to give birth, so that when she bore her child he might devour it.
She gave birth to a male child, one who is to rule all the nations with a rod of iron, but her child was caught up to God
and to his throne.

The first interaction between Jesus and other people
was the visit of the Magi who brought gifts.  Here Holy Scripture connects love, life and gifts.  We should be
able to easlily understand that God has  taught us
about the great gift of life.
