That you have spent the time to get to this page suggests things.  You care enough about this subject to spend time on it.  You also know that as time goes by evil happens.  You know that the time to end abortion was in the past and is not here yet.  In time, prayer can end abortion.  Below are some words written by those with a sense of the importance of  TIME.
I have posted these words with the hope that some of them may infuse your sense of hope.  If you know some words that should be on this page please email me:

Ecclesiastes
There is an appointed time for everything,
and a time for every affair under the heavens.
A time to be born,

The date of this Sunday can be written in the shorthand of our dating system as 10/10/10.  That will not happen again for an entire century, nor has it happened since October 10, 1910. That was just shortly after the great San Francisco earthquake and fire and about eighteen months before the sinking of the Titanic.  In my own lifetime, one of the most highly acclaimed movies has been the one called "Casablanca" in which the song "As Time Goes By" was featured.  It says "the fundamental things apply as time goes by."  We attend Mass this Sunday and we hear in the gospel the story of Jesus’s healing ten lepers who asked him for a cure, but when it had been granted, only one of the ten returned to thank him.  And to indicate his desire for their thanks, he said to him, "Ten were cleansed, were they not?  Where are the other nine?"  In our study of theology, we learn that there are basically four kinds of prayer and we should use all four of them.  There is the prayer of praise or adoration; the prayer of thanksgiving; the prayer of contrition for sin, and the prayer of petition for things that we need or want.  Some adults are like small children; they are very good about making petitions:  Gimme this and gimme that. But they are not nearly so ready to thank our generous God for his constant flow of gifts to us.  When Our Lord asks "Where are the other nine?," he is really asking, "why were they so insistent about asking, but so negligent about thanking?  Why are the nine not grateful.  Gratitude is a fundamental obligation of good manners among human beings, and of prayer between man and God.  The fundamental things apply as time goes by.  Not a day goes by without our receiving all sorts of things from God—our very existence and life, to begin with.  A beautiful day; the company of a dear one—parent, spouse,  child, friend—some good news that we receive; an unexpected joy or pleasure, or things of that kind.
Can we honestly claim to be grateful to God?  And to express that gratitude in our prayer life regularly?  Let us not make Our Lord ask where we are when we should be at his feet, thanking him for his goodness to us.  Thank you for seeking God’s truth.  God bless you.  Father Victor Brown, O.P.

In our generation, with the moral pollution of the atmosphere, there is no defense against the yetzer hara [Evil Inclination] except tefillah b'kavannah [meaningful prayer]. Rabbi Chaim Vital    16th  Century

This day and age we're living in
Gives cause for apprehension
With speed and new invention
And things like fourth dimension.
Yet we get a trifle weary
With Mr. Einstein's theory.
So we must get down to earth at times
Relax relieve the tension.
And no matter what the progress
Or what may yet be proved
The simple facts of life are such
They cannot be removed.
You must remember this
a kiss is just a kiss, a sigh is just a sigh.
The fundamental things apply
As time goes by.

And when two lovers woo
They still say, "I love you."
On that you can rely
No matter what the future brings
As time goes by.

Moonlight and love songs
Never out of date.
Hearts full of passion
Jealousy and hate.
Woman needs man
And man must have his mate
That no one can deny.

It's still the same old story
A fight for love and glory
A case of do or die.
The world will always welcome lovers
As time goes by.

Oh yes, the world will always welcome lovers
As time goes by.

Herman Hupfeld

If I could save time in a bottle
The first thing that I'd like to do
Is to save every day
Til eternity passes away
Just to spend them with you
If I could make days last forever
If words could make wishes come true
I'd save every day as a treasure and then,
Again I'd spend them with you
But there never seems to be enough time
To do the things you want to do
Once you find them
I've looked around enough to know
That you're the one I want to go
Through time with
If I had a box just for wishes
And dreams that had never come true
The box would be empty
Except for the memory
Of how they were answered by you
But there never seems to be enough time
To do the things you wan to do
Once you find them
I've looked around enought to know
That your're the one I want to go
Through time with

Jim Croce

Lying in my bed I hear the clock tick,
and think of you
caught up in circles confusion--
is nothing new
Flashback--warm nights--
almost left behind

suitcases of memories,
time after--
sometimes you picture me--
I'm walking too far ahead
you're calling to me, I can't hear
what you've said--
Then you say--go slow--
I fall behind--
the second hand unwinds
if you're lost you can look--and you will find me
time after time
if you fall I will catch you--I'll be waiting
time after time
after my picture fades and darkness has turned to gray
watching through windows--you're wondering
if I'm OK
secrets stolen from deep inside
the drum beats out of time--
if you're lost you can look--and you will find me
time after time
if you fall I will catch you--I'll be waiting
time after time
you said go slow--
I fall behind
the second hand unwinds--
if you're lost you can look--and you will find me
time after time
if you fall I will catch you--I'll be waiting
time after time
time after time
time after time
time after time

I see trees of green, red roses too
I see them bloom for me and you
And I think to myself what a wonderful world.
I see skies of blue and clouds of white
The bright blessed day, the dark sacred night
And I say to myself what a wonderful world.
The colors of the rainbow so pretty in the sky
Are also on the laces of people going by
I see friends shaking hands saying how do you do
They're really saying I love you.
I hear babies crying, I watch them grow
They'll learn much more than I'll never know
And I think to myself what a wonderful world
Yes I think to myself what a wonderful world.
